Dal Recipe

I finally made dal. For all of those who are not aware, i always used to make egg bhurji(recipe in next log) when my turn came up for cooking :-)
We, in the UK, take turns for cooking at home.

It(making dal) is quite simple.
1st, take some red dal + tuar dal in a cooker, put some water, add salt and close the lid of the cooker and let it cook for 1 whistle. Will take around 15-20 mins.

Meanwhile, cut some onions and green chillies. After the dal is ready,place a frying pan( a big one) on the gas stove and on it some sunflower oil. Put some jeera and the freshly cut chillies in the pan. Fry them till they become dark brown in color. Now add the onions and fry the whole thing till onions become light brown.

Now pour the dal in the frying pan. Add some tomotoes + some salt and keep the gas on sim.

Sumptuous dal is ready :)

And they say cooking is difficult... Uh !!
